Students in grades six, seven, and eight have the opportunity to opt into a team sport or weight training in the place of PE class. The Middle School athletic year is divided into five seasons to allow students to participate in a variety of sports. Regardless, our alumni agree that the lessons learned on the fields, courts, track, and in the water translate to life skills that have benefited them well beyond Pine Crest.Ĭompetitive sports begin for students in grade six.

Some of our student-athletes commit to playing their sport at the collegiate level, and some even advance to play professionally.
