The last we heard about a release date for the Always Home Cam was in fall 2021, when Ring said that interested users could apply for an invitation to buy the drone. The Always Home Cam is also not designed to fly for extended periods with a battery life of only five minutes before it requires a charge.
Amazon notes that the Always Home Cam is designed for a single floor, so if you live in a home with many stairs like a townhouse and were hoping to have the drone cover the entire inside of your home, this might not be the purchase for you.
